Boys are Stupid - Girls Arent...

Dairies of an ex-girlfriend:

Dear God:
Why did you make girls smarter than boys - only for us to point out their stupid behavoirs?

When I was in high school - lets just say I was "kinda" popular -
In the 9th grade - I dated a senior -
In the 10th grade - I dated a senior -
In the 11th grade - I dated a senior
And in the 12th grade - I dated a freshman...
(Insert quick note to my anonymous commentors - dont hate)

Okay - so your girl was always a head of the game -
or
We can also say that older guys "prey" on younger girls
- but I was no fool
being the youngest of seven - I was given a lot of advice and what I wasnt told - I observed...

So....whats wrong with dating in high school

#1 - Everyone is moody?
Horomones are developing and what I may have liked about you today - may piss me off tomorrow (as you grow older - this changes)

#2 - At this age - no one is "really" coming out and saying what they really mean or feel
I truly believe this is where "the game" begins -
I would like to introduce you to my representative: A person that looks good on paper
and what about the Guy who want to get as many notches under his belt that he takes notes on what he need to do - to get into girl's panties (some older guys play this game 2)

#3 - What it takes to "fit it" -
I dont know if I was pushed into "the crowd" - if I was selected - or kinda fell in...
But what it takes to be popular in some circles - means compromising your beliefs (red flad - dont do it)

Why I wrote this blog: I spoke to a young lady (who is 15 years old) last night - who had just gotten out of her 1st relationship - (being very careful) - I gave her some advice, shared some of my experiences and lastly and MOST important - I gave her sum - EMPOWERMENT.

#1 - Know what you want/like & why you like it
#2 - Be able to make your "own" decisions and stick to it
#3 - As my sister Ki once told me - "Dont say anything - to anybody - that you dont want repeated" and that goes especially to sharing information with girlfriends
#3 - Dont take it personally
#4 - Be a gem - (Be sought after)
#5 - (Piggy back on #3) - Pray for wisdom and when you know what to do - dont be afraid to move in that direction
#6 - Find a friend - NOT a Boyfriend

I know that these are just MY opinions - but when there is a time - that I would wish to relive a situation (but I cant physically go back in time) - I can use my power to help someone else make a better decision (and so can you)

Make each day count

Okay... so I havent really been "writing" that much lately - I've been posting videos - letting the songs (music) express how I feel -
But you know me - Im always contemplating- how I feel
about everything
Now as we are in this NEW year
Im exicted -
Im hopeful
Im looking to do things - differently
more wiser
(heaven sakes I'll be 27 this year)
Anyhow...
Im making a resolution for this year...

A New Year resolution is a commitment that an individual makes to a project or a habit, often a lifestyle change that is generally interpreted as advantageous. The name comes from the fact that these commitments normally go into effect on New Year's Day and remain until the set goal has been achieved, although many resolutions go unachieved & are often broken fairly shortly after they are set. (www.answers.com)
now I remember why I steered away from setting a "resolution"
However, I want to encourage and motivate YOU (& myself) - to make the most of out THIS year - time is one thing we dont get back... use it wisely
make each day count
